High performance epoxy laminating system SR1700 / SD7820 with slow hardener
Each kilo includes 0.74 kg resin + 0.26 kg hardener
High modulus, very stiff system, with low water absorption when cured and excellent adhesion to all types of reinforcements (carbon, aramid, glass etc). This system was developed for automotive, naval, and aerospace applications.
Slow hardener SD7820:
Slow hardener, very low viscosity allowing fast reinforcements to wet out. Laminates require 6 to 8 hours of working time. It is adapted to the production of parts with a service temperature up to 120°C. Items can be handled and extracted from moulds after 12 hours at 40°C or 8 h at 60°C.

Weight ratio: 100 / 36 g
Volume ratio: 100 / 43 ml
Mix viscosity at 20 oC: 750 ± 150
Reactivity of SR1700 / SD7820 system:
Exothermic peak on 500 g mix (oC) at 20 oC: 140 oC
Time to reach exothermic peak at 20 oC: 9 h 30'
Time to reach 50 °C on 500 g mix at 20 oC: 8 h 45'
